"What Archaeologists Hate"

UK metal detectorist: "Be in no doubt… archaeology’s radicals hate this illustration as much as they will hate you for using it"

I think they probably hate ignorance more.

More Bazthugwittery: Brexit Isolationism Welcomed

The Cyclone of Change Posted on December 23, 2019 by "John Howland"
GREAT news [is] looming on the horizon for both the UK and its metal [sic] community now that our departure from the EU’s clutches takes effect from January 2020. But not everyone’s joyful. Simply cock an ear to the prevailing wind and you might just catch a faint, curious, grinding sound breezing in. What you’re hearing is archaeology’s loony left panic-stricken wing (and no, they’re not all locked up) wailing and gnashing their teeth at Boris Johnson’s Conservative landslide win in the General Election. Their policies to submit us to further EU bureaucracy and more anti-detecting/collecting legislation have all the permanency of a snowman in the Sahara.
EU
It follows that our hobby/pastime will be rid of the EU’s unelected Commissioners who’ve previously tried, unsuccessfully, to outlaw the hobby. The bad news for our detectorist colleagues in Europe is that they are still yoked to authoritarian laws and diktats. One of these was a 1941 law passed in Nazi-occupied France and ‘interpreted’ decades later to restrict hobbyists – as a counter metal detecting’s growing popularity there. [...] Oh, for sure, the Cyclone of Change is a-blowin’. To my reader and follower….have a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and LUCRATIVE 2020.
British heritage policy always was aberrant in Europe, now the detectorists are isolated in a separatist regime, it remains to see what will happen.

Artefacts Stolen From Train in Durham

Wednesday, 20 November 2019 Artefacts Left on Train in Durham
British Transport Police are looking for an individual who took a bag left by a passenger from London who forgot to take it when they left the train in Durham. The bag contained a Late Medieval ring and a Late Roman fibula (BBC Ring and brooch 'treasures' taken from Edinburgh-bound train 20th Nov 2019):
Police said the items, valued at £1,000 and £500, were taken from an Edinburgh-bound service travelling from Durham. The rare jewellery was left in a red plastic bag in the overhead locker by a passenger who disembarked at Durham. However, the items were not handed into lost property and are now presumed stolen, said British Transport Police. The medieval ring, which was left with the brooch in a red plastic Aldi bag, has the inscription "o mi hart is yovrs" (oh my heart is yours) on its inside. The passenger who left the items was travelling from London to Durham on an Edinburgh-bound service. The jewellery is thought to have been taken sometime between the evening of 4 October and 12.30 on Saturday 5 October. Anyone with information is asked to contact the British Transport Police.
The ring was recorded by the PAS: DUR-05020D on Weds Oct 24th 2018 (Treasure case 2018T790). The brooch was also recorded by the Durham FLO (on Monday 18th June 2018, DUR-7DDAA3, Treasure case 2018T429). Interestingly, both records were 'updated' Monday 18th November 2019 - but not with the information that they'd been stolen. The photos used in the article are attributed to the Transport Police, but are in fact PAS photos. It seems a lot of the details are (deliberately?) fogged. How did the person with the red plastic Aldi bag come by these artefacts? The PAS has in the past used orange plastic Sainsbury's bags, would the artefacts have been safer in one of them?.

More Bazthugwittery: Detectorist Reacts to Leominster Hoard Convictions

Note that Baz was really loath to mention this case until the men were convicted and sentenced: Just desserts….. Posted on November 22, 2019 by "John Howland"
The two Welsh detectorists found a nationally important hoard of coins and artefacts Worcester Crown Court was told and that they ignored the law which states such finds must be properly declared. Instead they tried to sell the items in small batches and one of the pair was nabbed as he tried to sell five of the coins to an undercover cop.[...] these two idiots have done the hobby no favours and their actions tarnish us all with the thieving brush. I have no sympathy with them at all. If they can’t take a joke* they shouldn’t have joined. End of. It’s also a timely warning to others who might be tempted. The Treasure laws over here are so good, there is no need to do as these idiots did – they fully deserve all they got. I feel sorry for the Welsh detecting clubs of which they were members – they have an uphill struggle to disassociate themselves from these criminals. These convictions are manna from Heaven for the ‘anti’ lobby on archaeology’s loony wing who are in a feeding frenzy and this kind of ‘sexy’ news has doubtless given some of them erections.
* Eh?
Note, however, that there is no concern here for the archaeological damage these men did, only the damage to the "reputation" of Collection-Driven Exploitation of the Archaeological Record.

Tekkie infighting: "iDetect abusing The Man With The Hat"

A compacted version of a Hampshire detectorist's recent livestream attack on another Youtuber 'The Man In The Hat', publicly calling him a "nonce" and a "pedophile" after he was kind enough to make iDetect a coin ring and send him some other freebies. Watch the original video here [UPDATE - Now deleted]

Watch The Man in the Hat's response video here iDetect claims this was all just a "joke" and he refuses point blank to make a public apology which is all The Man In The Hat asked for. https://youtu.be/li-X8xLkc40 (also over-long, but rather illustrative of metal detectorist mores).

More Bazthugwittery: 'on Conservation'

Get it out
According to Baz, conservation of archaeological sites does not really make much sense, but - in his opinion -   is a form of 'Knowledge loss… by neglect', posted on September 3, 2019 by "John Howland"
I recently stumbled across a bizarre idea [...] “…it is better to leave objects and other evidence in the ground where it has been lying safely for hundreds or thousands of years. Here it remains safe for future generations to investigate with better techniques and with better-informed questions to ask.” Whoever dreamt up such idiocy obviously didn’t think it through to its logical conclusion. [...] Well, arkies and arkiedom, that’s fine…so don’t dig, be happy, but don’t try and palm this lunacy off on detectorists as ‘best practice.’ [...] [we, who] want no truck with the insanity of abandoning artefacts to the tender mercies of chemical deterioration, will rightly cast it aside as poor heritage practice and continue to bring fabulous historical items into the light of day for study and evaluation. Also, never let it be said it’s unethical to sell, or profit from any object found [...] What is unethical, is leaving artefacts in the ground [...] The utter lunacy of leaving valuable and notionally historical objects in the ground not only robs the heritage but seriously short-changes the public. It amounts to knowledge loss by neglect.

More Bazthugwittery: Fighting the Flies

The People want to overthrow
 their oppressors
Metal detectorist "John Howland" in "Dodge City" on May 9, 2019 at 6:39 pm reckons that:
Archaeological grip on the heritage is fortunately diminishing and they are clinging to power by their fingertips. Joe and Jill Public are pursuing their own heritage ambitions using their own means; and that often means using a metal detector. Their discoveries are simply amazing. Metal detecting, like relic collecting is wholesome, educational, and beneficial to the greater heritage good. Like it or not, some in our pastime don’t realise the struggle for metal detecting freedom has a serious political dimension. Our hobby has been so successful the British Government can’t afford to pay the LEGAL dues to finders under the laws of Treasure Trove; a situation the Comrades have jumped on to further their own stinking political ambitions to control populist heritage research and mug the populace of their property. Archaeology, especially here in the UK, has always attracted politicos of the extreme Left like flies to a turd [...] The real tragedy is that archaeology’s ordinary rank-and-file, the decent guys, can’t or won’t believe how they are being suckered in. [...] The truth always wins through in the end. It might take time and probably a few tears, but we’ll get there.

Detectorists Label Conservation a 'Fascist' ideology

Detectorists getting confused
Detectorist John Howland apparently hates the notion of conservation which is apparently beyond his understanding ('Japanese Whalers on the march… Ecological Fascism – Stamp it out NOW! ' Detecting and Collecting.wordpress.com Posted on December 23, 2018). He starts off by referring to the PACHI blog:

It’s not often you’ll see a vote of thanks on here from me to an undistinguished anti-metal detecting heritologist, but, over on a certain pisspoor blog, its perpetrator details a petition Japanese whalers are formulating – much to the outrage of the usual suspects – is now gaining glorious momentum by the hour. To find out why some heritage halfwits are frothing at the gob, pop over to:-
https://www.change.org/p/scrap-anti-whaling-conventions-for-Japan/sign
and add your name in support of our Japanese colleagues trying to bring about an end to restrictions on their decimation of the marine mammal population and in improving conditions for their industry in a world where it is illegal for ship owners to go out and bloodily slaughter whales and calves metal in their marine backyard, with risk of a prison sentence if they do. This is an astonishing breech (sic) of freedom and Human Rights. If this kind of repression was aimed at the gay community, ethnic minorities, or say the disabled, there would rightly be uproar. It must stop…NOW!
Having just used the 'playing the victim' card to bolster the position of the exploiters, he continues with a group ad hom aimed at conservationists opposed to reckless and damaging exploitation:
This tyranny is ‘ecological narcissism’ incarnate and survives in conservation’s darker niches [...] 'Ecological Narcissism’  enjoys a hand-in-blouse relationship with ‘Ecological Elitism’– a form of Ecological Fascism. [...] A victory for our Japanese friends will not only advance civil freedoms but will also help further expose the cerebral dweorgs’ banal ersatz data that is… Ecological Fascism.
Remember, Conservation-averse artefact hunters  often  talk like idiots and cannot stop themselves from behaving like idiots.

a few nasty individuals that can often ruin it for the rest.

From Facebook: (here)

Rodney Cook Memorial Charity Detecting Weekender4 października 2018
Before we move onto the finale of this years event, namely the presentation of the cheque, there is one outstanding issue that I would like to put to bed.....
There are some fantastic people in this hobby, and sadly, there are a few nasty individuals that can often ruin it for the rest....
Since the announcement of this charity rally, we have been constantly harassed by comments from a guy called Steve Taylor, some of you would have read his comments and indeed, I know that some of you didn’t attend because of them, so I’d just like to clarify a few of his comments with the facts....
In brief....
Steve Taylor initially claimed that he was pissed of because Gary had used their friendship to find permissions in his area....he initially stated that he had permission near Sisters Farm, which he later changed to having the permission next door, which ultimately became it was his farm and Gary stole it from him. - he also claimed that him and his friends had detected it a number of times but had found nothing but a few buttons...clearly designed to put people off.
Claims were also made that Gary used his sob story to get permissions and that most of the charity money would be pocketed by us. There were also a whole load of nasty and malicious comments made, some of the screenshots are below for those that want to read them.... but the bottom line is this.
Our club had the permission before Gary even met Steve Taylor. And none of the four landowners had ever heard of him, nor did they recognise his photo.
Interestingly, there were many, many hundreds of finds made across the whole site...hundreds of Roman coins and brooches...numerous Roman artefacts...3 x silver staters, 2 x bronze staters...Saxon button brooch, Viking stirrup mount...and a whole collection of medieval coins and artefacts....but very few buttons! So, make of that what you will...
Gary has personal permissions amounting to many thousands of acres, he doesn’t need to use Steve Taylor, nor ‘sob stories’ to gain any more....
Gary was subjected to a tirade of abuse and insults from Steve Taylor and his cronies, which were totally uncalled for, especially given that he had recently lost his dad.
Gary and his lovely wife Lisa worked tirelessly to organise this event, supported by our club, the Trowbridge & District MDC of whom I am proud to be Chairman.
We WILL be making this an annual event, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Oh, and the cheque for the Cancer Care Unit will be for £27,000!! All accounts are available for anyone that wants to see them.
And from us all, our huge and sincere thanks to all of you for your amazing support and for making it such a huge and successful event.
See you next year.....
The Full Facts
1. A few years ago, the Trowbridge & District MDC was introduced to the landowner of Sisters Farm via a mutual friend of one of our members. The farmers wife was raising money for charity, so with their permission, we held a club day on three of the fields which raised £800 for their charity. As a result, we were invited to go back any time we liked.
2. Shortly after, Gary Cook was at Detectival and met Steve Taylor for the first time. As a result, they did some detecting on each other’s permissions.
3. The TDMC held two more club days for charity in Wiltshire, Gary invited Steve Taylor along and he attended both.
4. Sadly, around that time Gary’s dad developed cancer and he tragically passed away sometime after.
5. Gary wanted to raise funds for the Bath Royal United Hospital Cancer Care Unit, who took care of his dad throughout.
6. We decided to hold the memorial rally, we explored a few options but because of the facilities, we decided to make sisters farm our plan A. Fortunately, the landowner was happy to support us.
7. Not only did he support us, he also approached his neighbours and in all, we had over 30 fields to detect on, owned by four separate landowners.
8. When Steve Taylor complained, we checked with all four landowners and three stated that no one had permission to detect on their land, the fourth had an ‘old chap’ that had done a bit of detecting in the past, but it wasn’t Steve Taylor. None of them recognised his photo either.
9. Steve Taylor’s claims were initially that he had permissions in the area, and that he didn’t want 350 ‘knuckle dragging morons’ descending onto his area...mainly because 50% of detectorists are night hawks that would use the rally as a cover to visit the surrounding area at night....yep, he really said that....
10. That swiftly changed to it being his farm and as proof he posted a handwritten agreement, with sister farm mention, but the agreement wasn’t signed nor dated! Seriously!
Unfortunately, this nasty and vindictive individual tried to ruin what was a noble cause
. He failed. He has stated that he will be taking us and the landowner to court. I hope he has very deep pockets.
Our huge and sincere thanks to you all for your amazing support and for making it such a huge and successful event.
See you next year....

UK Metal Detecting Blogs

With some 27000 of them in England and wales alone, according to Sam Hardy, it is interesting to note how few metal detector using artefact hunters ('passionately interested in history') are actually blogging about that passion. Seeing as their discussions on forums demonstrate that few of them can  cope with texts longer than seven sentences anyway, perhaps that is not surprising. If anyone would like me to add any they know of, please comment.

Discussing Erosion of Archaeological Information by Artefact Hunting

Responsible detectorists apparently want to help preserve historical sites, not this one though, he just wants to protect the hobby, does not care a tinkers about the scale of the erosion it is causing:

Kismet, Hardy, et al.  Posted on July 12, 2018 by John Howland
Oh, how I’m loving this. It’s truly gratifying, heart-warming even, for an old sceptic like me, watching the anti-detecting brigade’s  turd polishers in full panic mode. Here they are rushing about  like headless chickens  trying to burnish both the heavily tarnished ersatz data that is Heritage Action’s widely censured ‘Artefact Erosion Counter,’ and Dr Sam Hardy’s laughable, academically slammed, anti-metal detecting research Paper.  The  fox of truth is running wild in the  henhouse of bullshit.
Their collective eleventh-hour, face-saving attempts to pump any semblance of accuracy – or life even –  into the corpse of their aggressive, cock-and-bull, detecting-averse narrative is NOT of Lazarus proportions.  Their long-overdue humiliation is utterly enjoyable to watch. Their smears, propaganda, false data, and fake news, have all been spectacularly exposed.
Samples of their  turd polishing twaddle is freely available. A trip to the undistinguished Paul Barford’s  blog for example, or to the fatuous Heritage Journal’s is illuminating.  Both are pedestrian at best;  relying on  teenage angst [“it’s  soooo unfair”] in reply to critics; heavy on evangelism; and disingenuous in content. Their stab at fumigating  their matinée idol’s flawed research Paper – following its critical mauling at the hands of an internationally renowned team of distinguished heritage professionals – ain’t making it.
Guffaw, guffaw, guffaw. Large ones all round.

    Hedge Fodder Among Artefact Collectors

The childlike John Winter is complaining because not all of the comments on his "metal detecting glossary" are pats on the back.

I’m been (sic) inundated with comments from Barford … must investigate ways to delete him as a subscriber …

"Inundated", TWO posts? That's a little bit of an exaggeration innit, M8? So, how do you stop people who do not agree with all you say reading your blog John? Make it invited visitors only, that's how. Like most metal detecting forums, which are rigged that way so the stakeholders (public) cannot see what  members are up to and saying.

Really John, you can keep your readers in the dark by deleting substantive comments and playing the victim, but one day the bright ones will find you out.

    Bazthugwittery Begins Attacks on "Heritologists"

Baz Thugwit has a new 'nick' on Wordpress. Now he's calling himself "John Howland", it seems, and has started under that name a new blog "Detecting and collecting" (motto: 'Detector-averse heritologists talk like idiots and even look like idiots, but don’t be fooled – they really are… idiots')*. Here's the first post (18th December 2017) : 'Trends and traitors'. Does not seem much like detecting and collecting to me. See what you make of it.

What, actually is a "Heritologist"?  It seems the former bus driver is having a go at Cultural Studies. I wonder what he actually knows about the field. We shall see.

*don't be fooled? About what? Does not make sense, Baz

Steve Taylor wants a debate (1)

Steve Taylor, pictured here a jobbing gardener from the Gloucestershire region apparently wants to be taken seriously as a knowledgeable local history hunter. He has been involved in collection-driven exploitation of the archaeological record for, he says, 30 years and is still very visible on a number of detecting forums. He also makes a lot of videos of fairly standardised format under the name 'DETECTINGFORGOLD'. The one below published on You Tube on 24th January 2016 ('Metal detecting for hidden history, uncovering a large Saxon/Celtic brooch') is typical of the ilk. Note the comments underneath, Mr Bluejelly remarks:
Just noticed a thumbs down dislike symbol , there are a few sad bastards around who hate anyone else finding nice objects and sharing them on You Tube. Can't understand why anyone would dislike metal detecting videos if they were a true hobbyist. Always a few retards in the hobby ! lol :
The notion never seemed to occur to him that there might be a few heritage conscious individuals looking on who consider that collection driven exploitation of the archaeological record in the manner shown here is damaging to the public interest. Anyhow, Mr Taylor responds thus:
+MrBluejelly I do the video's for free, and you always get the faceless people who criticize you, for whatever reason. They never come out of the woodwork, to have a debate on line.
Here below is the video, and then below it let us see what happens when people using their real name, not some screen pseudonym publish comments critical of the way metal detecting is depleting the archaeological record and the attitudes of metal detector users to comments.

Detectorist Steve Taylor 'Wants a Debate'? (2)

I thought it would be an enlightening insight into the way some metal detectorists in the UK think and attempt to enter the international debate on the issues surrounding collection-driven exploitation of the archaeological record. These are all real comments sent to me from Mr Steve Taylor for publication on my blog and retrieved from the rejected comments folder of my blog. Note the engaging way he creates an offensive screen name (he uses others, worse) and then the way he twists my surname and the misogynous terminology common among the mostly middle-aged-male detecting community. The first batch are from a post I did about the nasty trend among artefact collectors to use doxing as a weapon against their critics:
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Antiquity Collecting, UK Thuggish Louts and Their ...":
Still being a CUNT, Barffart. Thought you may have died by now, but alas you're still here. Soon be time to play a few games with you, like the good old days. lol
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Antiquity Collecting, UK Thuggish Louts and Their ...":
Can't count knobhead !and no warnings lol

Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Antiquity Collecting, UK Thuggish Louts and Their ...":
Oh by the way that photograph is copyright. Leave it up at your own risk ! You've been warned
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Antiquity Collecting, UK Thuggish Louts and Their ...":
I would be very careful about accusing people of stalking and posting personal information on line, as I have a whole file on you, which was also recorded on Google at the time. Along with your Steve Taylor scrap metal dealer. Those who live by the sword , die by the sword.
Then the reaction to the capture on film of some illegal metal detecting going on near his home
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Kingscote Illegal Artefact Hunting: Update":
I recognize the one on the left who looks like a Neanderthal, low brow, small brain, works in the dark, lives in Poland, hey that's a photofit of you Paul. Tell everyone how you sent two criminals to Poulton, on Spot the hoard contest you ran ! Happy days
This then became a xenophobic accusation:
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Kingscote Illegal Artefact Hunting: Update":
Not very nice you Poles to fellow men. lol http://www.jewsnews.co.il/2015/09/17/over-30000-furious-poles-chant-fck-islam-on-the-streets-of-poland-as-the-invasion-of-europe-is-growing-more-intense-each-day/
by the way, I am English (one wonders at the press Mr Taylor follows). More on the nighthawking issue
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post ""Detectorists" Responsible detectorists caught "Ni...":
I have an agreement signed on some bog paper Paul, I'll send you a copy. Be careful of the Van Gogh sunflower in the middle. lol Maybe the next series will feature a guy with a giant penis on his head, then we will all know how famous you have become Paul.
This incomprehensible scatology is followed by an attack on the Portable Antiquities Scheme when I discussed a funding problem:
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "LAVA-PAS Meltdown Continues":
It would be nice to see all PAS officers back on the dole, where they belong. Especially the one from Gloucestershire, who allegedly is as thick as shit !

TAKE A GOOD LOOK at this behaviour, for these are precisely the sort of people the PAS wants to grab more and more millions of public quid to make into the "partners" of the British Museum, archaeological heritage professionals and to whom they want us all to entrust the exploitation of the archaeological record. Take a good look and decide what you think about that as a "policy".

British Pensioner Detectorist Steve Taylor 'Wants a Debate'? (3)

Continuing the series of comments retrieved from the 'rejected' box of my blog, we get a telling view into the mind of a long-standing member of the British metal detecting community. Here is Mr Taylor referring to what I said about a Californian dealer publishing a text about 'Slaying Barford' - it is not just metal detectorists who fantasize about extreme resolutions of their problems with critics. After a long break from previous posts, it rather looks as if the self-focussed Mr Taylor has some kind of a notification system set up to alert him to the appearance of his own name in the blogosphere:
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post ""California style"":
Lol ! Do you fancy another game of chess Paul, although I'm two games up ! How's the angina and blood pressure. I've now retired and ready to play again.

Any sign of life yet ! tick tock tick tock ! lol
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Xenophobism UK":
The best thing is we got rid of you Paul, just one million to go !
[I believe this is a xenophobic reference to one million Poles living in the UK and a 'final solution' to the UK's 'problem' with internal expatriates]
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Xenophobism UK":
So you staying in Europe Paul, no-one ever invited you back you cunt ! lol
the return of the urogenital terminology
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "What Brexit will mean for British Archaeology":
The British Government has just announced that archaeologists will now be sacked across Britain, as they are deemed to be worthless parasites, much like Paul Barford.
Taylor's terminology here is very redolent of the antisemitic Ewige Jude  trope, a prelude to the Final Solution.
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Xenophobism UK":
    PMSL
[for those unfamiliar with this kind of urogenital terminology, 'used to build identity through abusive language', see here]
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Xenophobism UK":
We'll be turning up the gas soon ! lol
LOL? Another shameless reference to the 'Final Solution' ...

UK Detectorist Steve Taylor Says he 'Wants a Debate' (4)

Having revealed himself (see previous post) to have apparent neo-Fascist fantasies about 'turning up the gas' to rid the world of 'worthless parasites', Mr Taylor dropped silent again for a few weeks. But then becgan again 'seeking debate'. This one refers to British attitudes to foreigners living in their country:

Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Scary Foreign Academics Asked to Leave Britain":
We have also blocked any 11+ grade archaeologists living in Poland from returning to Britain, it seems we need qualified people in Britain. Mrs May said let those Polish Commy cunts rot in hell, especially any going by the name of Barford. lol

Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "UK Treasure Hunters go Against the Trend":
We only does it fer the monzees guv, I've just had to sell a few goldies to pay fer me new Range rover, £65000 fucking quid, bloody rip off ! They ought to have those car manufactures in court on living on immoral earnings.

Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Archaeological Morons Pretending to be Clever":
    Yawn !

Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Dishonest Metal Detectorist's Other finds?":
    Yawn!
Then this, referring to the policeman who stole artefacts from the landowner:
Paul Barford and his amazing talking arsehole has left a new comment on your post "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?":
You need to felch him Paul, that will make him squeal ! lol
Those not familiar with the term will easily assume to which area of life (and human anatomy) it refers by glancing over the relatively limited range of the comments' author's 'interests'....

More xenophobic hate speech with homosexual undertones:

Oh Paul, I think I'm in love with you. Such a way with words, and you have that oh so rugged look, that has featured in those 70's porno movies, with macho beard and blue lips. Fuck me, blue lips, that mean a heart attack is imminent. Paul take it from me, don't come back to the UK for treatment, as the NHS is not what it was, as there are too many Poles abusing the system.

Fit the largest coil you can find and ram it up your arse, Paul. It will help a Swift insertion! lol
